Metallic Center Geometry

  • Open Notch – AL1 / AL2 – The open notch favours the cutting speed due to the greater attack on the diamond and the alloy, as the segments are further apart from each other.
  • Closed Flange – LA / LAR – Flange designed to increase the performance of the discs. As the gap between segments is smaller, it favours their protection and therefore the wear is lower.
  • Narrow Closed Flute – LACC – Flute designed to achieve the best finish in the cut. As the segments are close together, we avoid jumping and thus reduce chipping of the material.
  • Continuous Band – BC – This band saw is designed for cutting delicate materials and where the level of finish must be very high.

Segment Geometry and Design

  • Laser – H 8mm – 10mm – For materials where abrasion requires a smooth side surface to avoid any extra erosion.
  • Turbo Laser – H 10mm – 15mm – For low abrasion materials where speed and ease of cutting is a priority, as there is less lateral friction and improved blade feed.
